An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.
At the end of the long walks
from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.
Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been
made to do.
After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure,
it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. 'I am ashamed of myself,
because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to
your house.'
The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are
flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?'
'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you
water them.'
'For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful
flowers to decorate the table.
Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'
Each of us has our
own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.
You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

My Interests
My interests include creating content in here - though after some tumultuous experiences I kind of lost the desire - it's returning though and I can say that's due to my new activities in imvu which include trying to do things to bring the happier elements of imvu together and discourage the less desirable aspects of our community. My fave community activity in imvu is the group CreatorHQ. My fave creations to make in imvu are furniture and my fave genre - gothic.
I also maintain an arts career in technology/art - more specifically Bioart - though I have taken a break from that (as well as my lecturing work) to concentrate on my study. I am undertaking my Phd on my most favourite subject - Zombies :D Actually the thesis is utilising the zombie to interrogate what popular culture can reveal about our relationship to biotechnology. I am in my second year which means I start writing finally! this year! Do feel free to message me with your favourite Zombie film but don't forget to tell me why.. I love a great Zombie movie :)
I also love enamelling (the art of melting coloured glass onto metal) and am currently building my workshop/studio so my art can continue in a decent environment...well my partner is building it :)
I am also an avid euro-boardgame player (yes even geekier than my xbox addiction) and although my time limits my involvement in our local band of game geeks, I still enjoy a good game now and then. My fave game is still Settlers of Catan :)

Enamelling sounds like fun, we just got over the subject of sculptures in art at school, We made an animation of cute stick figure wire people who were epic midgets, quite entertaining to be honest. Can't think of any zombie movies to add to your list (i bet it's long) I believe i havn't seen any for a while. Might have to try Settlers of Catan sometime, sounds enjoyable. Didn't really understand the comic at the bottom though, maybe it says brains? Not sure. Any male outfits other people can try? Only see female, but i havn't really looked lately. Gave me a really good laugh for the first time in weeks after seeing that 'zombies eat flesh' poster, the way subway had been manipulated so wonderfully. Maybe you'll read this, maybe you won't but i hope you enjoy it if you do. I may have said it, but it is indeed a fun page to be at when it's 3 in the morning. Have to split this message though, it went over the limit by a fair bit :3. Have fun, enjoy yourself.

Hey!! I missed coming to this page, the way it's always changing and interesting. I figured i'd just post another message, some way for someone to remember me (: I havn't visited since May i believe, nor have i even been on. The new look is pretty awesome, especially the mirror stickers at the bottom of the page. It's great to see another person who loves art, i myself are more into drawing of the cartoon and anime styles, moreover characters from games like Final Fantasy etc. Same 'Perfect' slogan i see, and it still works for someone such as yourself. I hope that studio really works out, sounds like a load of fun. Still love the bugs by the looks of things, or maybe it just goes with the Gothic scene. Enjoyed reading about the pot, that was beautiful. Did you create it or is it something you found? Anyways, moving on. Maybe you didn't notice, but a few of your photos from photobucket aren't working, just a word of warning, maybe someone else has already said.

Very affordable with sounds from $2.49 !! you pay just as much in submission fees for products with sounds in imvu so why not do the right thing and buy them - they're too cheap to pass up for the ethical warmth you'll feel afterwards!!!

Freecycle is a mail list connecting people who have something to give and those who need things... everything is free and aimed at keeping good stuff out of landfills!! ..heres a blurb from the site...
"Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."
"It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free."
