Galadriël Vanya Eledhwen Gender: Female Age: 1233 years Parents: Elgaladwen Nienna Carnesîr and Aranel Elemmírë Eledhwen Relatives: sister Jasmine Poikaer Eledhwen and Brother Aranel Eldalote Eledhwen Powers: flesh-shaping Dragon: Scruff ~.~ Galadriël Vanya Eledhwen means in the language of men: Sun of the Fair tribe of North Star. Before she was borne her mother Elgaladwen could feel the warmth of her baby’s powers and the promise of a future for her tribe, and the birth of a child with the powers of the sun where whispered. Galadriël was borne as the first of three siblings, and where raised to be the next leader of the tribe, but when the time came she wanted it differently. And as she grew up their history would take it place and the democracy was for the first time prevailed. She still feels the responsibility of her tribesmen heavy on her shoulders, as her ancestors, but she believed in the free will and that each and everyone should have the power to decide for them selves. She still have the feeling of responsibility and would sacrifice her life for the tribe who she consider being her family. She swore she would never decide for them what they should or should not do. And to this day she has kept her promise. ~.~ Galadriël had a happy childhood where she spent her time helping with her siblings as well as her power as a flesh shaper grew stronger. She met her first dragon friend Amandus when she was a few hundred and their bond where strong. The rumour of the Northstar elves healer where made, and Amandus and Galadriël started their travels to the villages around to help with what she could manage. As she grew older her fair being and accepting nature where legendary, and her wisdom where appreciated. She at an age 822 where trusted with a position within the counsel witch she accepted with great fear of not doing the right thing. Her negotiation skills where soon noticed and has made her respected with her kind. Many would say she is the strong due to her abilities and leadership; others would call her their weakest link and the frail one since she can’t handle her weapons. ~.~ She is not brave in war, and her fare are great inn such situations, she would still go but but with a heavy heart. She would always follow her tribe when needed, but she would never seek it out. Her ability as a flesh shaper is important where ever they may come to harm, but the quest of war she streeve to avoid at all cost. As one that will always spear a life, she would never freely take it, and her world is more concentrated of the love and kindness than the evil around her. She firmly believes there is goodness in all, and that is also very clear in everything she does. Her skills with weapons are suffering from that fact and she handle weapons with more difficulties then her tribesmen. She has trained long and hard with both the bow and the sword, but her skills are still pore. She handles a dagger, but the target never comes to harm. Her talent witch she is born with may harm as well as heal, but she would never use it for such. Her lack of skills when it comes to weapons are resting heavy on her shoulders. She feels the sorrow of not being able to protect her clansmen and family and feel dependent of the warriors around her. Even on the elven hunt, her hand trembles as the arrow is aimed at its target. She knows the death of the prey will feed many and she has hunted, but she would prefer not to. And her heart bleeds for the prey that she needs to sacrifice. She feels the preys pain in the kill as she touches it and she cries for each and single one. Although she is not as naïve as it may seem, and do recognise evil when it comes her way, she will always look for a peaceful way out of the situation. ~.~ Galadriël has had two dragon companions. Her first Dragon Amandus where killed in battle, and this was devastating to her. One of the Dragons Ygdril, left a newborn behind when she died in the on going battle, and even though Galadriël came to late to rescue Ygdril, she made it in time to take care of the newborn. The newborn was remarkably a match to her soul, and she named him scruff. It was soon to be shown that the newborn crossed her path for a reason and as he has grown he was destined to be her new Dragon Companion. Scruff is young and although he’s growing and learning each day, he makes the mistakes of a youngster. ~.~ Galadriël has as many others suffered a great deal of loss in her life. Not only did her parents die when she was young but her brother also suffered a fatal encounter at young age and where brought to her to late to rescue him. Her sister was also to adventuress to stay within the village and left on her travels at young age. She still comes to visit every now a then, but rarely stay for long before the adventure calls upon her again. Galadriel often worries of Jasmine, but she try not to trouble others with her thoughts. She is scared that one day she will not come home at all or that something will happen to her and she will not be there to help. But her responsibilities are with her tribe. ~.~ She met a ventrue knight that against all she lost her heart to, but their time together would be proven short. She suddenly did not hear from him and she was looking for him night after night but never where there a word of what happend. He where no where to be seen and she knew in her heart something had happened to him. One night the necklace she gave him was given to her, it was found in a pile of ashes to the south and she knew he would never have taken it off. She left the village that night to find her answers to what happened to him and to find out who she where after this. She felt as everyone she cared for where harmed. She came back a different person; some of her warmth was replaced by something that has not been there before. The warm flesh shaper had opened her eyes, and realised there where not only the good in this world. She from this day swore not to use her powers and some of the warm smile was gone. Her grieving was long and she would never give her heart away again. She from this point gave her whole dedication to her tribe and decided that love was not for her. This would mean the line of Eledhwen where stopping with her unless her sister came back, but since the democracy where such a success it would mean their need for a leader where never to be needed again. ~.~
