Do you ever feel like you’re not good enough?
Do you ever wonder why life has to be so tough?
Do you feel like you’ll never find love?
Do you often feel the clouds above?

If I give you my heart will you crush it?
If I give you my soul will you steal it?
If I give you my life will you kill it?
If I give you my dreams will you laugh?

When it seems I give you everything it’s never enough,
When it comes to giving back you’re just too tough,
When I give you love, you give me hate
When I give you refuge, you just take & take

Do we go through this life wandering alone?
Is that what we deserve, being left in the cold?
Does this life offer any hope?
Or is this is it and there is nothing left with which to cope?

Does this life drag you down to the depths of despair?
Is there nothing in this life that you can repair?
Is it worth living for in any case?
Or do you feel like you’re just taking up space?

Is life worth living in this circumstance?
Is it time to lie down, give up your chance?
Do we go on living in fear, hopelessness & despair?
Or do we fight; live our lives knowing we shall persevere?

Do you want to end it, just to have it over with?
Do you want to stop the cries in your head with anything?
Do you want to find the fastest way out?
Can you deal with it another day, week, month?

Life can be so hard it’s just not fair
Others go thru it without a care
Why then is it so difficult for me
All I want is to be free.
