If you are one of many persons who come to my page and who don't bother reading any of the info that I've taken the time to post here and then messages me or if you simply message me without checking my page to read my policies then your messages will most certainly be deleted and ignored. If you message me, expecting a response, and do not receive one it's because you failed to read my page which ALREADY provides the answer for you and I'm not about to repeat myself to people who don't deserve it.

Welcome to my IMVU homepage, thank you very much for purchasing my products or just showing interest enough to look around.
Some things you should know BEFORE leaving me a message:
+ I'm not currently taking requests. PERIOD.
+ If you have your account set so that only your friends or certain people can message you, don't bother message me if you expect a response. You'll just be wasting my time and annoying me.
+ Don't message me asking what's up or how I'm doing or if I want to chat. I'm okay with commenting on messages but I don't like being chatted-up by random strangers. If I WANT to talk to you, I'll talk to you. I'm sorry if that sounds rude and forward but I get a LOT of messages like that by people that I can tell right off the bat that I have very little in common with, or can't tell anything about because their message is short, generic, and common.
+ IMVU is glitchy and shows me being online sometimes when I'm not. I also might be busy, so if I refuse chat don't take it personally.
+ If I own your badge don't take it personally if I don't display it in the top 10.
+ I have NO desire to read your spam or other such garbage. I never read it, I never answer it.
+ I appreciate gestures but please don't gift me. I don't regift people.
+ I am developing again, I should thank you for noticing.
+ I don't need or want "models" I do everything myself.
+ I don't add people I don't know or haven't had a chat with before. PLEASE don't add me
+ Whether messages are read or ignored, everything gets deleted. I don't always reply to general messages like "Hi, love your stuff, have a nice day." I DO read them, but I only respond with a thank you or whatever if I feel like it.
+ I DO NOT give out or discuss personal info such as my name, location, etc. From now on, if I'm asked such questions, your entire message will be ignored.
+ If you message me don't tell me you read the rules on my page, just abide by them and I'll KNOW you read them.


--- Some time ago a few IMVU members flagged and helped remove and ban another user who stole some of my eye designs while I was on hiatus from IMVU. I'm still deeply appreciative and strongly encourage all of you to keep an eye out and take action in speaking out, flagging, or reporting all instances of work-theft occurring on IMVU. I should think I speak for all developers when I say that doing so earns our deepest appreciation and gratitude.
On that note, I'd just like to state that people who steal textures, who resubmit derivable items without making changes to the original and market it as their own original work, who copy-cat other developers' styles or artistic personalities--- They ALL disgust me and make me feel ashamed sometimes to be a developer. That goes double for popular/successful/veteran developers who SHOULD KNOW BETTER. I refuse to support, derive from, or buy products by people who engage in such practices. I don't hold this position on it because I've been stolen from in the past, but because my love and appreciation of talented and original artists' work is strong and I feel wronged when someone cheapens their work by using it for personal gain.
