You all know that (Left-Click| Zooms and Rotates the camera. You probably also know that |Right-Click) Pans the camera Left/Right & Up/Down.
But, did you know you can use [Shift]+|R-Click) to Pan the camera Forward/Back instead of Up/Down.
This is useful for exploring a large room (It beats Dot Hopping), or taking interesting snapshots.

Now that you've been exploring the room with the camera, how do you get the camera back on yourself?
You can use the Bird's Eye View button to reset the camera.
When you hit the button once. It floats up for a top down perspective. But, when you hit it a second time, it snaps back to your Avatar, no matter where the camera was originally.

Clicking the 'Text Chat' button in the lower left opens a traditional Chat Pane. This allows for a few tricks of it's own:

• First, You can Edit what you've typed without having to backspace and rewrite it all. Let's say you forgot to capitalize your sentence. You'd just have to hit [Home],[Delete], Capitalize it, and [End], then continue with your sentence. You can also skip one word at a time by hitting [Crtl]+[Left]&[Right].
  
  
• Second, You can fill two or more bubbles at once. When you type in the small bubble above your Avatars head, after you reach the end of the forth line, it automacially sends the bubble to make room for a new bubble to hold the rest of your statement. But, when you type in Text Pane, it holds your entire thought until you hit [Enter]. You could write an entire paragraph and send it only when you are done.
  (But it's good manners to send a couple sentences at a time. You wouldn't want to wait for someone to finish writing a short story.)
  
  
• And last, You can highlight any text. You could, then, hold your own thought.
  Just higlight it all, Cut, type your response, and Paste it back in to continue.

If you want to show your friend a webpage, just paste the Web Address. The URL will show up as a clickable link.

You probably have seen this. When you type certain words, your Avi gestures accordingly. But sometimes this may be inappropriate.
(For example: When waving goodbye, you wouldn't throw your arm above your head, while sitting next to them on the same couch, would you?)
End the word with a "." to stop Auto Actions.
Good, What, When, Who, and Sleep will have an Action despite what is typed afterwards. So you will need to lead the sentence with the "."

When you want to sit with someone, and there are a lot of other Sitting Dots around, how do you tell which one will sit next to them? You wouldn't want to end up 50 feet behind them.

To help pick the correct Dot, use the [Left]&[Right][Arrow][Keys].
This will pan the camera, causing the Dots to move according to depth. If doesn't move much, it's probably too far back. So pick the one that stays near your friend.
|R-Clicking) hides the Sitting Dots, so you will need to use the [Arrow][Keys].

"That's all well and good, but my friend is somewhere and I can't see his text bubbles. How do I find him, then?"
Use their Username at the bottom of the window to tell where they are. Just center it and move the camera forward.
Try using the [Up] arrow while using the mouse to steer and center it.
(Just remember to close Text Chat.)

If you want to take more interesting snapshots. Try tilting the camera.
Just hold [Ctrl] and hit [Up] or [Down]. You can change the angle as you please.
But if you use the (L-Click| at all, the angle snaps back to default. You can still pan the camera 6 ways with |R-Click) or the [Arrow][Keys].

You may have seen this in the Tutorial, but if you hold [Ctrl] or [Shift], you can modify what the furniture icons do. If you want to move that couch just a little bit,
Hold [Crtl] while you (L-Click| and drag.

The Flash Inventory is now standard. It makes it much easier to find the clothes you want:

• First, more items are listed at one time.
• Each category has a small button shown on screen.
• All items have the larger image dimensions. The same as when you bought them.

To see the name of a product, just hover over it. If you want the product page, click the ' i ' in the upper right of the icon.

You can make a small bit of change without having to purchase a credit pack. Try visiting:

• New Products - Check out the latest and greatest Developers have to offer to snag a 50 credit incentive.
  
• Play Spin Free - You can try your luck with the Spin Free slot machine. You could earn a good lump of credits. Usually, though, you will come up with nothing.
• CreditsTV - IMVU promises to bring this back in full force. But they will work on it, in the mean time.
