The birds are chirping,
Not a cloud in the sky,
A gentle breeze blowing,
I do not care why,
Life seems so peaceful,
This warm afternoon,
But as time is passing,
It will be over to soon,
A sweet smell fills the air,
Of flowers and cut grass,
What a wonderful feeling,
To bad it can't last,
As I lay in my hammock,
My worries drift away,
Like dandelion seeds,
On this bright sunny day,
I see my cat napping,
A ball of fur on the lawn,
As I watch her there sleeping,
I cant help but yawn,
