The Taijiya
Sango was the only teenage female youkai taijiya from her village.[5] Before being destroyed, the village of demon slayers consisted of humans that had mastered the techniques of youkai extermination and frequently helped others remove youkai from their villages. She lived in the village with her younger brother and their father, the head of the village.
History:
Sango lived in the village of demon slayers with her father, the village leader, and her younger brother. Sango was taught from a very young age in the ways of demon-slaying. She was 10 when she and her clan were called upon by the Lord of Takeda Castle to slay a bear that was harassing his domain. Her skill caught the eye of the young lord, and he vowed to one day marry her. Sango, unfamiliar to romance, reacted shyly to his advances.
he nekomata Kirara was a long-time ally of the family and became very close to the siblings, especially Sango after her father introduced Kirara into her care as a young girl. She and Kirara learned to fight well together, and developed a strong bond. Her love for her brother was strong. She always helped him with training and loved him dearly. By the age of 16, Sango was one of the best youkai taijiya in her village, using her weapon the Hiraikotsu with ease.
Fast forwarding the story... Sango travelled with Inuyasha,Kagome Higurashi,Shippou and Miroku the monk after learning that she was being manipulated by the nefarious hanyou, Naraku. She grew vengeful and vowed to slay Naraku when she realized that her younger brother Kohaku was being controlled by the same evil half demon, promising and vowing to Kohaku that she would free him from Naraku's clutches and reclaim her younger brother's life.
Post-Kanketsu-hen : Sango married the Monk Miroku after the gang defeated Naraku and Kagome sent the Shikon Jewel away forever more. They had 3 beautiful children together; While being full time parents Sango continues to slay youkai,and cares for her children along side Kagome; While Miroku and Inuyasha go around the country side exorcising and slaying youkai to earn money and favor.
