Dear IMVU People
I am a person in Real Life I try to act like the way I would in Real Life. Just because this is virtual space and we can do infinite things here without the cause of consequences and punishments such as normal physics. Doesn't mean we should act any different then how we would act in normal life in terms of Etiquette and mannerisms. I am not talking about dressing as “furries” or fantasy creatures or anything else for that matter, but rather in our lack of decent treatment toward other people. So therefore have come up with a constantly evolving list of things that just bother me:
1. Trolling looking to pick fights just because you can
2. Begging for gifts or credits. I do not mind giving credits or Gifts to friends and people I know and trust on rare occasions but for people who I do not know to invite me to chat or chat with me and just ask is really rude
3. Sending friend invites without even speaking to me If you do send one without talking to me i will just block you. If you want to speak to me please feel free to send me a private chat invite or just talk to me
4. Trying to ask me to date or have sex. That is an insult to me as I am not here to do that sort of thing. If you do it I will block you and possibly report you
5. Usage of Foul Language.
6. Touching my avatar without my permission.
7. Asking me if I have MSN or Hotmail or yahoo or face book or Skype especially if I do not know you I will just block you.
8. Usage of Ebonics aka Street language
9. I speak three main languages and I can muddle my way through a few more so I do not mind if I am given the chance but I relish in it however If everyone is speaking English please speak the rooms common language.
