S - Hello Jess J - Hello Scuffy S - I am Claudia and this is Kina B - Hi Jess S- We would like to ask you some questions about yourself and how things have been for you on IMVU. J - Ok, sounds good S - It was a bit rough this month, but things always are in the beginning J - of course S - Well first of all I would like to say that our crew found your application very interesting. It was definitely one set out from the crowd. B - Definitely ^_^ J - Thanks, just wrote honestly how I felt, made sure to give complete answers to all the questions and that sort. S - Well it was great ^.^ well worth several second and third looks B - Blush away! S - Would you like to tell us all a short bio about yourself? J - I don't know about short, but I'll give you a bio lol. Was born in PA, lived there until I was 17. Dad died when I was 15, mom remarried, and we moved to TN, I lived in the middle of nowhere for two years, before meeting him (my husband) online. Which is where I live now. B - Wow. You are living proof that online meetings can be totally positive in real life. fascinating. J - Quite. S - Lol, well Im impressed. (Claps) J - Long story really, I just didn't want you to be here all day S - We probably will be here all day anyways at this rate of recording lol. B - lol true S - Ok next question. How long did it take you to write your application? J - Gosh, I probably sat there for a couple of hours composing answers. Did all the easy questions first, then went back for the more lengthy ones. B - smart girl, one of the reasons why your application was received im sure. S - And are you overall happy with your answers or do you think you missed anything that we should know? J - Don't think I missed anything, kept changing my answers for most wanted items, but I think in the end it was pretty much what I wanted. Everythng else, took a little thinking, but I was happy with the answers once I finished. S - What gifts did you appreciate the most and find extremely useful? J - Oh gosh, I loved everything so much, you guys really fit my style and personality. I love the skins and hair, though, being able to change so drastically just by changing one little aspect of my avi. So many different outfits depending on how I'm feeling. I've got outfits from downright sexy and "on the prowl" as it were to lounging and chatting with a couple close friends. B - So glad you are happy with them all hun. we really did try to pick them based solely on you. S - yes it is important to have a bit of every style. People arent ALWAYS sexy or ALWAYS lay back. Just like in real life. B - Exactly right Scuffy. J - I'd have a blast haha. Gosh I wish my avi's closet was my closet. S - Is there anything you were dying to recieve and didnt? J - As for things I didn't get and really want..I can't think of anything offhand that I was like OMG why didn't they buy this! S - Well we mustve chosen well then B - haha J - Half the time I get gifts from my wishlist and I'm like oh..I had that in there? I'm really glad you guys didn't rely on my wishlist and I think that makes it better. If that were the case it'd be kinda like getting Christmas presents and you S - Ya we arent bit on wishlist shopping unless I see something really awesome on it. J - I got a little bit of each of your own styles mixed with my own so I kind of got a feel for your tastes, rather than just, oh she likes green and this green outfits on her WL I'll buy that. B - I was actually worried....that if I didnt buy much from your wishlist you would be upset lol. Well I am glad you are happy with them dear. S - Would you recommend to other people that they should take part in our contests? J - Absolutely, especially new people that don't have many credits to spend on themselves and still want to be able to show off their style and make a lot of friends. S - If you could give other future contestants one bit of advice, what would you say to them? J - Take the application seriously, don't just think of it as an IMVU contest. Ultimately, that's how you're chosen and you really want to shine through on it. Especially if you don't know anyone, all they have to go by is what you wrote down along with a photo. S - Before you were pimped, what was your favorite outfit? J - My sunset tank top with my layered black skirt, a pair of wooden heels and I think Aya hair in brown. S - Would you be willing to show us later after the interview? J - Sure S - What would you say your favorite outfit or outfits are now? J - Oh jeez I have to pick just one? Definitely this dress is one of my favs and my fur coat which I love. B - It is stunning indeed S - And our last question. Has this event changed your IMVU experience at all? Care to expand? J - It's definitely changed my IMVU experience. I knew a handful of people including the person that invited me in the first place. I saw the Pimp My Avi contest in a shout and I was like, oh I could join that and I've made so many friends from both Pimpers and hopeful applicants and when I won I couldn't stop saying OMG for about 10 minutes. S - Yea, you were chosen from about 60 applicants. J - Serioualy, you'd have thought I won the lottery. I kept looking at the list of recieved applications like oh jeez, that's a lot of people I have to beat. And I got mine in early when I didn't think I had much competition lol. B - It is a lottery of sorts isnt it. S - Yes it is J - Bit less random than the lottery thank goodness, but yea. I am 100% proof that you guys read the applications and really give thought to who the winner is. S - we do J - rather than just picking a name from a hat, or a friend that filled out an application. S - Whats the point of that?? Haha. No one would be in our group then besides our friends in that case. B - Lol J - So I definitely want to say to the new people that it doesn't matter that you don't know anyone because I didn't either. S - Well thank you for taking the time for an interview with us Jess, we appreciate it. B - Thank you Jess. So great to meet you finally aswell. J - It was no problem really, I had fun.
