My Commitment as a Christian

I'm part of the fellowship of the unashamed. I have stepped over
the line. The decision has been made. I'm a disciple of Jesus
Christ. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be
still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, my future is
secure. I'm finished and done with low living, sight walking, small
planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions,
mundane talking, cheap loving, and dwarfed goals. I no longer
need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits or
poopularity.
I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded
or rewarded. I now live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by
patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power. My face is set, my
gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my raod is narrow, my way rough,
my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I
cannot be bought, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face
of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at
the table of the enemy, or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I
won't give up, shut up, let the cause of Christ go.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop,
preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He
comes for His own, He will have no problem recognizing me - my
banner will be clear!!

God's Promise
Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone; to have a deep soul relationship with another; to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.

You just keep looking off and away to me, or you'll miss what I want to show you. Then when you're ready, I'll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than you would ever dream. You see, untill you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready...I am working even this minute to have both of you ready at the same time...until you are both satisfied exclusively with me and the life I have prepared for you, you won't be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with me and is thus perfect love. And dear one, I want you to have the most wonderful love. I want you to see in one flesh a picture of your relationship with me and to enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty and perfection and love that I offer you with myself.
