Im not accepting any gifts from her in the future.Hermione:she seems so immature to me, but she manages to get good grades. she cant be all bad.Ginny:I love her! shes so much fun! I laughed so hard when she gave Ron that quill that made his ears bigger! I couldnt stop giggling for a week!Seamus:I guess shes okay. "you shouldve gotten someone to lure him here. less of a wait" you turn around and see Fred standing there grinning at you. "and I suppose you would know all about that!" you retort. "well, I have experience."he says shrugging. "well, then, maybe next time you can show me how its done, oh mighty wise one!" you turn back around to watch for Snape. "He wont be coming for a while," Fred says. you turn around again. "why not?" you ask. "because I just got out of detention with him and he mentioned something about having to send a letter..." perfect, you think bitterly. you face him and notice that he has taken a step closer to you. you started to get nervous. what was he planning on doing? you back up into the bucket of frog spawn and it falls over the edge. you hear a scream of disgust. looking down, you can just see Snape covered in green stuff with a bucket rolling on the floor next to him. "bullseye," you say. you turn to look at fred again, and suddenly you both burst out laughing. you are able to calm down and see fred sitting beside you, leaning against the banister. he looks at you and says,"youre always able to make me laugh without trying. thats partly the reason I love you so much." your stomach gave a lurch and you turn to look at him. "what?" "I said--" he looks a little fearful now. you stand up so suddenly it makes you dizzy and you run off along the corridor, leaving fred sitting there, stunned. you go and find an empty classroom and sit there crying silently to yourself and wondering why you ran off like that. half an hour later, you get up to leave. when youre halfway to the door, it opens and fred is standing there, framed in the doorway. he moves torward you, youre frozen on the spot. he says, "Look, Karissa. Im sorry if I offended you or something, but what I said was true. it wasnt a joke." "I know,"you manage to say softly. "I guess I was just afraid." "afraid of what?" he asks. you take a deep breath. "I guess I was just afraid of getting hurt, thats all." he looks at you with a soft expression and steps even closer. "dont worry, you wont get hurt." and with that, he backs you up against the wall and kisses you forcefully but passionately. his arms are wrapped around your waist and they begin to move upward, lifting your shirt up over your head. you reach up and start unbuttoning his. when you pull apart and you stare deeply into his eyes, he gives a low chuckle and lowers his face to yours again. you return to the common room late that night. people ask you where you went off to, but you just laugh and say, "Fred pulled one over on me!" ;)
