ROSE OF LIFE: 13 petals on this pitch black rose, fate and death this path we chose. Misguided and twisted our paths can be, as i find courage in that which is free. Free of sin and shame and defeat, each turn mocks us as we deplete. 12 petals now as one falls to the ground, brushing the earth without a sound. Yet in my mind one thousand screams, of chaos disorder and defiled dreams. Pain is the name of that which falls, the more pain i feel the louder it calls. This rose is lifeless and so are its petals, i feel its pain as sharp as knettles. This rose was a symbol of ever lasting love, pure and true as the flight of a dove.
