|
|
i like many of you Add new outfits to my saved outfits. and when first checked out photo mode i thought it was awesome. but my main album was full of Outfits from the past along with pictures of me and my friends goofing around. i wanted to delete the outfits and keep the pictures. but they will only delete one at a time. which is really time consuming and i got things to do on IMVU~
So i would like to suggest a Multi-Delete Option in the album's. so that i along with others that have this problem can get our albums in order.
if you have a better idea on how to delete 956 pictures of outfits. be my guest~ |

This is such a no-brainer command available in all photo albums known to humanity since the dawn of the Interwebs... so I honestly cannot fathom why it isn't there from the start... unless it was to cut corners to put the new shiny albums online ASAP.
How I wish, for once, to see IMVU NOT substituting user options for shininess.
Please allow us to select multiple images to delete. I know, I know: you'd like us to go through them one by one until we develop carpal tunnel syndrome but, come on, be a sport.
The new albums may look slick and sparkly, but the old one (limited as it was) had more functionality than this one. Of course, you know this. Since we're not going to get the former open source albums back, at least include again some of the functionality of the old one. _________________

I agree wholeheartedly and who wouldn't.
IMVU simply astounds me time and time again. They decide to IMPROVE an existing feature, but end up leaving OUT features, so making the NEW, supposedly improved version, LESS FUNCTIONAL than the old one.
Come on IMVU. The old gallery already allowed you to delete multiple pictures at once. How could you implement a new one without multiple deletion. I would rather you guys delayed bringing out new gallery until it was fully finished, not this piecemeal crap. _________________

My main problem with the photo albums is that when I save an outfit, it automatically saves a picture of the outfit. My homepage is rated GA because I want everyone to be able to get my badges if they want them, but if I create an AP outfit a picture gets saved automatically to my gallery. And my homepage will be flagged for AP content. If I could delete more than one picture at once then it would be a lot easier to remove all the AP pictures. _________________

I would love to see this feature.
Especially as there seems to be a bug that makes large photo collections not work properly. What are people supposed to do; spend hours deleting one thing at time in the website so that the version on the client will eventually work for them?
I want some apple pie now.

-grabs some of that apple pie -
Yep, this realy releases the stress of this new 'improved' photoalbum feature.
I've tried it today since a long time... Man, it was a big disapointment. |

As a work around you can create a new album, drag the pics you want to delete to it, then delete the whole album.
But I'd like the power to do it, too.

I tried that and it won't allow you to delete the main Album :\ |

If you mean the default album then no, you cannot delete that (that is like a safe guard, to protect photos you haven't designated to specific albums yet from being accidentally deleted). You have to create a new album. Which did you try? |

I agree! I have so many old photos that I wanna delete of like.. Old mates and such. (I'm a RPer) And I would like to be able to go through and select all the ones I wanna delete then click my mouse and them be gone! It would be a needed improvement. I didn't do much with my photos before, just set them to private, and now that the option to edit these albums has been incorporated into the client, the tab definitely needs some fine-tuning. _________________ *~*~*~*Kaetarina*~*~*~* |
