One day Jesus and Satan are having an argument over who is
the most skillful computer programmer. The argument has
been going on for some time and is getting increasingly heated when God steps in and calls a halt.

"There is only one way to settle this argument." He decides
"I will judge a competition between the two of you to see
which is really the most skillful computer programmer"

Two computers on little desks immediately appear in the
either and having seen the two contestants take their seats
God leaves. A large crowd of angels - fallen and otherwise
- gather around and start making bets on who will triumph.
The air is filled with speculation and the sound of frantic
typing. After several hours there is the sound of trumpets,
a flash of light and God reappears. As He does so both
screens go blank and the computers switch themselves off.

First God goes to Satan's computer. He switches it back
on and waits for a moment but the screen stays blank.
After waiting for a few minutes Satan sighs and concedes
defeat.

God smiles and walks across to Jesus' computer.
He presses the 'ON' button and instantly it hums into life.
The screen is filled with a beautiful colourful glowing
3-D model of the universe and all the life in it. The model
pulses with light and hums with delightful musical harmonies.
The crowd gasps.

Satan stands up angrily and throws back his chair. "That's not fair!" he shouts.

God smiles again. "Oh yes it is." He says. "Jesus saves."
