My New Moon movie review
Well, I'm going to start with the positive thing; it DID stick to the book.
It was very much like the book and that was probably the best thing
about it. SPOILER WARNING! Like the book, it starts off with Bella's
dream and I have to say, they did it very well. The vampire's 'sparkling,'
is alot better this time round. I still think it's un-natural for a vampire
to sparkle though >.<
Some people may think, 'Oh yeah! More Edward/Bella romantic scenes!'
Think again! Edward always looks like he's crying whereas it
sounds like the both of them are dry humping each other. Especially
at Bella's birthday kiss. Jasper's attack was pretty good though. Great
effects I must say. For any fan of Rosalie Hale, you'd be dissapointed; she
has about 3 lines in the whole film. "It's from me and Emmett," "This is not
the choice I would have chosen for me," "I vote no." That's Rosalie done.
Kristen Stewart actually smiles, more than once, whereas Edward is
even more depressing than usual. It takes him about 10 minutes to
say one line. Bella Swan is officially the worst female lead ever. She
depends on the love of her life to look out for her. It's actually quite ... strange
to see her sitting in a chair, in front of her window from October to December.
But anyways, she does give off a bad message of saying, 'If your boyfriend
leaves, you have officially lost the will to live.' That's the message my
girlfriend received anyway!
Although, she did turn around to me and said, 'If you left me ... you'd be
getting a kick in the balls!' Onto the best part; the wolf pack. Chris has
really outdone himself on designing the werewolves. Amazingly huge, they
are a positive exception to the film. They look exactly like wolves but
are maybe 6 or 7 times larger; they're fantastic!
The wolf pack are characterized to be all different and the actors portray them
brilliantly; Paul, the abrasive one, was definitely one of the best. Jared, the joker,
Sam, the leader, Embry, the friend and of course Jacob, the loyal one.
They all played to the best of their abilities but Jacob's sudden changes
in temperament were realistic and my eyes were glued to the screen
whenever he was on!
Another positive point in the film was my reaction to Emily's scars; they were
designed to perfection and they really did look like scars from a wolf
attack. I'm not going to review Kristen's acting skills because they were
certanily lacking and she only showed a certain amount of emotion
in some scenes. To people dreading Dakota Fanning's performance
as Jane, don't! She was one of the most enjoyable to watch onscreen
from the Volturi clan as well as Michael Sheen portraying Aro.
The wolves clashing with both Laurent and Victoria were action-packed
and I was eager to see more of the chase scene but unfortunately, it
wasn't long til Laurent was getting torn apart. The Italy scenes were a
tad bit rushed but meh, I don't give a shit for vampires. I didn't enjoy the
Twilight scenes squashed into some parts; it ruined the whole outlook
of the film.
The ending was rubbish. The only good thing was Jacob's confrontation
with Edward. Jacob, of all people, didn't deserve to be treated so badly
by Bella. He was always there for Bella, whether the pack liked it or not.
And of course, the last words in the film were, 'Marry me, Bella.' Dare I say,
the 8 year old girls sitting in front of me said, 'Now we have to wait til
next year to hear what she says.'
All in all, I'd give the film either 2 and a half or 3 stars out of 5. It lacked
greatly in anticipation. I can't say much for the action cause the action was
great, especially with the wolves. I hate to say for Cullen fans but the scenes
at the start of the film with them bored me to death! It wasn't worth the
hype and out of the 32 of us that went, I say 3 liked it overall.

I shall be posting a 'lovely' review about New Moon here on Friday night (: Anyways, I give people a fair warning (especially to stupid sexually active 15/16 year old girls.) Don't have a baby til you're OUT of school/college. I'm a freakin' guy and I feel like having a breakdown. Between a 2 day old baby and University, it's getting to be too much D:

She still had a month to go but my girlfriend had her baby this morning :D We called her Gabrielle (Gabby for short) and she was 5 pound 2 ounces. Ah, I'm full of love but they have to keep her in ): And because of the new fucked up systems to do with swine flu, I couldn't stay over but I'll be going in first thing tomorrow! I got a niece yesterday and a daughter today. Oh .. I must hug someone. -goes to find someone to hug-

I just finished editing my imvu group, Final Fantasy X/X-2 and I have to say, I'm happy with the outcome. Now all I need to do is get my members more involved! Ah well, at least it's done ^.^ 10th of November
Hm okay so ... There's like me and 31 friends going to see New Moon and I can scarcely say I am looking forward to sitting down the back and throwing popcorn at the squealing fangirls (My own girlfriend included). But luckily she'll be sitting right beside me so it's not that far of a throw xD
I'm going to start on a rant now about it but nonetheless, I shall enjoy making fun of it with about 20 of the people coming with us :D

Well, I'm sad today D: Like most days I'm in Uni, I tend to come home absolutely exhausted but now, god I'm even worse. Readers just can't make up their minds. They like to see me unhappy :( I have to stop updating Son of a Black which does make me upset! I want Jas and Sirius to get back together but NO! They don't. WTF am I gonna do? ¬.¬

Okay; working on a brand new story now :D Forget Sirius Black's crazy (but awesome) tattoos, I'm giving him new tattoos with actual meaning. Forget all about his Russian and Arabic symbols. I'm giving him crazy tribal designs, perfect portraits of his close friends and family and weird body wrap tattoos (: I'm not going to post it until I'm finished but I'm really looking forward to it! 8D
23rd of October;
I just got back from seeing the new vampire flick, Cirque du Freak; The Vampire's Assistant. To be honest, I was expecting it to be shit as everyone was saying it was going to be a horrible interpretation of the books. FUCK THAT; it was bloody amazing and I thought Larten's mock impression of Jasper from New Moon was hilarious! ^.^ It was definitely a movie I'd go see again and again. It's what true vampires are all about!

Finished up the 7th chapter for Son of a Black; I'm pretty proud of it! And now Ande is making me a new Sirius Black set; Oh my god, I love that girl ♥ Mid-term starts tomorrow. Bring on Halloween (H)
