Q1: I don't see the clouds in the Cloud 9 furniture items. How can I fix this?

A1: Cloud 9 furniture uses IMVU's new particle effects feature and requires that an up-to-date version of the IMVU client be installed to display properly. Look here for the most recent version of the IMVU client.

Q2: The clouds dont's display properly. They look like bright white squares. What can I do to make them look right?

A2: Cloud 9 furniture uses IMVU's new particle effects feature. Particle effects will not display correctly if placed in a room with items using additive blending. Items using additive blending typically glow (e.g., laser effects, neon effects), but not all glowing items use additive blending. To resolve this issue, remove glowing items one at a time until you find the item causing the conflict. The Cloud 9 furniture will display correctly once all additive blending items have been removed.

Q3: Parts of my clothing disappear when I am lying or sitting on a cloud. How can I fix this?

A3: Cloud 9 furniture uses trasparent textures to make the clouds appear realistic. Some clothing also uses transparent textures. The IMVU client has trouble displaying one transparent texture behind another. What you are seeing is an effect of a bug in the IMVU client program. This can only be fixed by IMVU staff and it has been an issue for a very long time. Your best bet is to change clothing to an outfit that does not use transparent textures. (Note to Content Creators: If the Blending checkbox is checked in the IMVU Previewer, this issue will arise. Unchecking this box for non-transparent textures resolves the issue.)

Once you receive your new badge, follow the steps below to display it next to your avatar portrait.

1. To enable user badges, click here and select "Submit".

2. Open your account settings by clicking here. Scroll down until you reach your Badges settings and drag the badges you wish to display to the display area to the right of your avatar portrait.
