.. a heart attack when she realised that it wasn't just a quiet dinner for two with her sister. Once again mum took it in her stride and proved that she's tuff! LOL It was a great night. There'll probably only be about 20 to 25 of us on Christmas day. (That's what happens when everyone starts dating people from other countries! LOL they end up sharing Christmas overseas)

Large Family? Us? Naahhh, only 6 boys and Mum. Dad passed away 27 years ago but he's got a brother and a sister that are still doing very well (between them they have 15 kids and I couldn't guess how many grandkids - LOTS) on mum's side she has 2 sisters one with 13 kids the other adopted 3 coz she couldn't have kids as for grandkids about the same, LOTS. hehe So I guess you could say it's a fairly big family. ;) and no, we're not all in Australia. We're in 5 countries (not counting my bad memory, so >5)

It turns out, that after spending about $11,000 on my trip, I came back to a profit. All because I made the mistake of putting the limit to high. LOL So my trip actually made me money too! Funny story about that trip, before I went away I caled my stock broker to sell my shares and put what I thought were fairly easy price limits on the sales. ( I didn't need to sell straight away) Anyways, when I came back I noticed that my bank balance was no where near where it should've been. I called the Broker to give 'em a blast for not selling my shares. He said "Before you start, have you seen the price they're at now?" After checking, I thanked him and hung up with the cheesiest grin on my face.

Half of the journey on the Ghan is along a piece of rail that is all one piece! There's hardly any clackety-clack. I thought I'd miss it, but I found just the rocking and rollin as the world goes by is what I really like about trains - and the fact that I don't have to worry about getting lost! LOL Not that I've ever worried about getting lost though - my ex used to always complain that I'd missed a turn-off when I just couldn't tell her that I'd rather go a different way every day...

Disney World! LOL A girl after my own heart! I can fully understand that. So much fun! (I imagine - I've never been) :( Maybe it would be my favourite if I could compare. Where have I been...hmmm Are we talking countries or places? Coz if it's countries it's probably around 20-25. I never did the trip around Australia that I've planned for so long... I have done about a hundred trips across Oz though. I love train trips. (The Ghan was my favourite train trip - Goes from Darwin to Adelaide)

So tell me what's your favourite place in the world? Mine's this little beach in Jersey (in the Channel Islands) that's only there for about 4 hours a day. The tides are about 15 metres in difference and except for low tide, all you see is cliffs and dangerous waves... then at low tide ... the most gorgeous, clean, virgin beach ever! You feel like you're the only one to ever visit the beach coz there's not even a foot-print in the sand! (Did I mention you have to walk for 1/2 an hour to get there too?)

Yeah I've had Peppie since she was about 6 weeks old. She'd only just arrived at the pet-shop when I turned up to buy a ... Kitten. LOL I took one look at her and knew I wasn't getting a cat anymore. :) I'm so sorry to hear you lost your fav. kitty. It's not fair that they have such short lives. I know that you would have made her life a lot better for knowing you though.

LOL OK here's another question for ya: True/false I taught my dog how to fetch but she refuses to ever since my ex's cat took over. My ex's cat could fetch, but can't now and still Peppie won't fetch, but she will wink, sit, stay, go to her bed, go outside, drop, shake hands, and she LOVES to give kisses, even if the person she's giving them to doesn't necessarily want kisses! LOL
