in my opinion, any PERSON that allows themselves to be subjugated to another human being shows no self worth. and i know many feel that way, but it's inherently self-destructive. it also says much about the 'master', doesn't it. gives them a sense of power in whay may be an otherwise powerless life. that person is amoral, and has no real concern for the 'pet'. the proof is in the ease with which a 'master' will go thru pets from one to another. they're only really interested in the taste of power over another person even tho spurious or temporary. in layman's terms .... it's just sick! dressing in costumes doesn't compare to that in anyway.

i believe i also told you that i am sure there are others who come in who are the same way ... they just keep it to themselves. it follows that he would be able to do the same. in his case, he'd already announced to everyone there his 'leanings'. i would have been a hypocrite to my friends who were there at the time to allow him in. do you see the distinction? ........... as for a furry lifestyle being offensive? how? in what way? i have never gotten a good answer to this. is it demeaning? to whom? the animal? the person? is disney inherently evil because they depict animals with human traits? should the play 'cats' be banned? ......... but slaves or pets? much different story. the fact that some individuals don't mind it or even like it changes nothing. did you know many slaves after the war still wanted to be slaves? do you think that meant slavery was ok? something to aspire to?

we're not going to come to a meeting of the minds here, are we? there was nothing 'rough' about my manner. i was as polite as he was. and if his feelings were hurt because he wasn't prepared for the possibility of a negative answer to his question than i'm afraid that's his problem, not mine. but i know i waste my 'breath' here. ..... he is welcome to come into harbor anytime he wishes as long as he adheres to my rules and in his case DOESN'T ask the question! kinda like the army rule of "don't ask; don't tell". ....... i am a fair person but i am also somewhat strict about my rules. it's general room because i want even children to have a place to not be hassled in nor exposed to what i consider bad elements (read my rules). harbor, as it's name implies, is a relative safe haven for furries. i intend to maintain that as much as i can. even you may drop by if you wish. other than that i suggest we drop this.

once again, there were no 'foul' actions taken by me or anyone else. he asked, i ulitmately said no and i explained to him why. there's nothing else to read into it. he was pleasant to me, i was pleasant to him. case closed! the fact he went and cried about it to you suggests the whole idea of politely asking is a sham .. to make a false show of giving the addressee a choice. if his "owner" was serious in his instructions to this poor fellow he'd add ..."and if they say no, say thank you and move on. after all it IS their room". it should have never gone beyond that. the only point in your favor is that it IS his choice. i think it's degrading but it's still his choice. i can't put an end to slavery or whatever other terms you'd like to dress it in, but i will reject in my own house. surely you'll give me that right! and i did it respectfully. if he says different then he's a bald faced liar. therefore you had no right to verbally assault me the way you did. care to apologize?

you can't go long without insults can you? you're wrong about almost everything you said. he seemed very nice. and i did NOT not like him. and don't give me crap about not understanding his lifestyle. i understand more than you know. if his 'master' felt he was an equal he wouldn't be called a pet now would he? .... if he wants to brag about it, fine ... but not in my room. i'm not the only one there who thinks it's demeaning. regardless what you think it is. i think you should both confine yourselves to rooms with people who don't think about much or have brains. .... and btw you don't know dodo about me or what i am or know or think. you're a child to make such ignorant observations about "people like me. you have anything further to discuss, be civil, else i ban you and your friend and report you to imvu for your language to me.

your crude message tells me much about you. i mean to start right out with "you are an ass hole".. priceless! ....now! i didn't "kick" little hiromi out of the room. he was very polite and explained right off about what he was and gave ME a choice of whether he could stay or not. i explained to him that i found it distasteful that people (furries or otherwise) would demean themselves to the point of becoming someone else's pet). he then said "then you wish me to leave?" which basically left me with no alternative other than to say yes. anything else would make me a hypocrite, wouldn't it? if that hurt him, so be it. it was his call to announce to everyone what he was. if he'd kept his trap shut no one would have been the wiser. i'm sure i get pets and slaves in harbor all the time. most are bright enough to keep it to themselves. your "friend' may be nice, honest and have many other boy scout traits ... but, he picked the wrong room to display his unsavory lifestyle in.
