We met on the swingset at age 6, and after the fists stopped flying and the crying was over we realized we were a matched set, ying and yang, light and dark! 36 years, the 80's, two husbands (hers...the good one is still putting up with us), two kids (ours), new lives, deaths, and relocations later, we still like and love each other. This rare relationship goes beyond "friend", but even some sisters I know aren't as close.
