I try not to think about it too much, I just want to keep my spirits high and do all that I can to make her better. Seriously, it's so creepy. This morning she insisted I play tag with her in the hospital (which didn't go down very well with the nurses). Looking at her you'd think she could barely stand on two feet let alone run around. Al has always been a naturally fast runner so it made it much more competitive. It ended in us two making out in the lifts, it was pretty hard though because we were so out of breathe looollll :o). We could go southend with the beach and the little amusement park thing there? Or I could take her to the burnham beach like last time and take the dogs too? Awww.. a picnic she'd love that. Thanks for the ideas ;o) So how are you doing? I heard you're with some guy jamie or someone? Is that it? Al couldn't remember either.

Charlie’s in my hospital bed now watching me write this to you. I always make him get in the bed with me when he visits and I make sure he gets under the covers as if he was staying here too. I hate being here. The other day I’d got to sleep about nine in the morning and woke up about 5am the next day and Charlie was leaning on my bed fast asleep. I started crying because I knew ever since I’ve been here he has came to see me everyday by train straight after school. Knowing that I hadn’t been awake to make him go home he’d stayed by me all night watching me asleep. He can’t really get my laptop into the hospital much anymore. The hospital keeps on saying they ‘won’t allow it’ - Somehow his parents found out and they threatened to ground him and crap if he keeps on taking it in for me.

I’ve wanted to show you this photo I took of Charlie; I get so excited when I actually get one as he hates cameras. It was a few weeks back before I got stuck in this shit-hole. It was when we had a day off school and we promised each other the night before that we would wake up really early and make the most of that day; so obviously this was when he had just woken up and silly Charlie hadn’t done his hair and all he had on was my neck scarf and his boxers. He was on the laptop and while I was getting ready I got my phone out quickly and stuck it in his face. This was the day that I went to the beach with him, remember? I was hyper at the time - although he was kind of moody and was ignoring me. He just glanced at the camera as I took it then stared at the laptop screen again; his expression stayed the same the whole time. I love it as you can see all his beautiful features. He does look pretty rough in that one though. Sometimes I sit and stare at that photo when I’m missing him while I’m in here.

I get so scared in here sometimes, Val. I heard about some girl in a bed just down the corridor from me who died recently. I have my own small room so I’m pretty lucky as there’re quite a lot of girls here. We don’t really have the energy to speak to each other though. It’s always very quiet here; I can wander around the wards and go outside sometimes too if I feel like it. I’ve been out to see the younger cancer patients too; they’re really fun to talk with. I just bet my grammars a mess; I can barely keep myself awake. I’d rested my head underneath Charlie’s chin and fell asleep and I only woke up about half an hour ago. He’s also been missing a lot of school because of me. I seriously owe way too much to him. I have no idea how I’ll ever repay Charlie for what he has done for me. Got any ideas?
