As I drift along the cold and storm tossed sea,
the angry waves crash about me,
pulling me under and plot my demise.
Aye, Still I fight my valiant fight to keep control of my tiny and broken vessel.
I turn a tear streaked face to the shore,
My fearful eyes longing for comfort and shelter
There you stood, the promise of safety upon your gaze as you
bade me to come forth and leave my angry sea behind.
As I draw near, the warmth of your heart burns me, moves me, makes me question myself... I look back to my angry sea and then hither to your safe harbor and know I am home at last in the protective slip of your love.
