My name is Claudia and I have Cushings Disease.
I found IMVU in 2007 and found it a great place to express myself, then Later on I found out that I have a diseace Called Cushings.
After doing some research it scared the hel out of me and due the complications of it I lost my job and had to go on disability.
I get 878.00 Dollars a month to live off of.
My meds run 300.00 a month ( that is generic)
My doctor visits around 120.00 a month.
My car payment and insurance is 420.00 a month.
I lost my home, and everything I pretty much owned and had to move in with family.
For awhile it worked out since my father was sick I stated and I took care of him. Then he died and we lost my fathers social security and now I take care of my mom.
Who takes care of me? NO ONE!
So, I started developing to make extra money. I have to say that the amount I make from here barely covers one of my meds per month.
So, here we go.

I just wanted to say hi and that I kind of keep an eye on you when I see that you are on line. Lately I have been so busy learning to dev and traveling and trying to coax my pc to adjust to the updates that IMVU keeps putting out. Whew! Whoot madness, lol. I too live on ssi and it fing hurts every month no matter how much I try to cut back. And like you I have had to move in with family, and that's a bitch. So I totally respect what you face everyday. My best, Dietem, he was my best friend and his cremation is going to be 100.00 dollars and his vet bill is 81.00 dollars for a total of 181.00. Please click this button to donate to help me pay for his funeral and bills.

Today July 20th My best friend Dietem Died of 17 years. He was my best friend, he went everywhere with me and was a very good Russian Blue, totally unconditional love, he slept with me every night, got me up in the morning, greeted me when I got home, scolded me when he didnt like his food and was my offical tate tester of my new recipes. He had congestive heart failure in January and was brought back heroically by my vet. After this illness he lost all his top teeth and in the last 2 weeks i had to hand feed him soft food and this last week had to force feed. Over this weekend he stopped going to the bathroom and as crying. He was cold and unresponsive, the vet had me double his thyroid pills and he seemed to improve but last night Sunday he was struggling to breathe and was not responsive so today I had im put the sleep. On the way to the vet he had a stroke and defecated and urinated all over me .. I lost it. I cleaned him up in the vet as he was drooling, he seemed to reconize me for he put his head in my arm and mewed. I threw up.. but i did not leave. The vet looked at him over and i gave Dietem Oxygen ( i held the mask) and he said it is time. So he shaved his fur on his arm i held his paw and he gave him the injection. It was so fast I freaked out. I mean in 5 seconds i felt the breathe leave his body and his eyes ... they lost their shine. Then I felt the weight of his head on my arm, he was gone.
I sat in the room for about .. 30 or so minutes holding him in his blankie. I made myself sick. I cried, I screamed, I even banged my head on the wall holding him like an idiot. I remember how he would sit on my lap at the PC and he would want me to pet him and would pat me on the face or head butt me. I killed my best friend is all i could say or think.
A young intern came in, not an idiot mind you and said, he isnt hurting anymore and asked for his body.
He is being cremated and they are giving me a free tin to put him in and I told them about my disability and they agreed t take payments. One of the laides there is going to take a paw print for me in clay and put some of his fur in it. I i pick it up in a week.
