My goodness!! Everyone would like to know how to get a larger avatar! :D
The first step is to have a graphics program of some kind, for example I use PSP (PaintShop Pro) or another great one is Photoshop.
The next step is to take a printscreen shot of your avatar in a larger clearer pose than IMVU lets you take at the moment.
The next step is to alter it in that PSP like program, removing the background if thats what you desire or putting your "tubed" avatar (tubed means removing the background in PSP speak) onto whatever background you choose.
Now the part that makes IMVU accept it as your avatar is resizing it smaller until it is only 100kb or smaller in size. Don't forget to save it lol :D thats important lol :D and remember where you saved it.
The next step is to go to your IMVU Homepage and click on your current smaller avatar picture... when you get down the page there is a spot to upload a new avatar picture :D
Browse around until you find your saved file of your larger avatar and upload it. If it says that it must be smaller than 160x220 still you need to back back out and go resize your avatar just a bit smaller again (its still too large a file, too many kb)..
when you have the right size file you will just simply go to your homepage and it will have shown up without the size warning :D
hope this helps you all that can do this without more help!
If you still would like help after that, I'm charging for my time... I have 4 kids at my house, and a full time job, taking time from my sleep or my family is going to cost ya ...
sorry...
if you have more time than money i suggest you go download a program to try making them yourself with and practice... eventually you will get some skills and Im sure youll do great! :D It does take time though....I have been working in programs like PSP since 1999...
Right now I am thinking 200 credits (basically the price of one of my stickers they run about 199 and those are cheap-ish I understand)... you can either buy me a gift (please not one of my own stickers unless its on my wishlist) or you can send me the credits straight... (we are talking about basically 20 cents, or 4 days of hitting the new catalog for your free 50 credits.)
