I Am

I am disturbed.

I wonder why?

I hear the birds, and

I see the sky.

I want to be free, for

I am me!

I pretend to be normal, but

I feel no link.

I touch my face, and

I worry of what they think.

I cry for my place.

I am disturbed.

I understand why.

I say, “I am me!”

I dream that they would understand.

I try to flee no more.

I hope that you all can accept and see, that

I am me!

Love’s Emotions

Don’t you ever feel a mix in your heart?

They are different emotions of love.

Let me read them like a chart.

Love can be happy,

This makes you smile.

Love can be hate,

This makes you sad.

Love can be jealous,

‘Cause he messed up real bad.

Love can be many things,

I am sorry for its commotion.

But this is me,

And my love’s emotions!

The Love Plea

Love is the scar,

That on my heart you leave.

It stays there forever,

And hurts when it bleeds.

Why do you torture me so?

Or tie me up inside like a bow?

You should have listened, you need to stay.

But instead you took my heart away.

Is my love for you really wrong?

Why couldn’t you just take me along?

I still dream of us on top of that cake.

I cant take it,

Stop it! Please no more.

It casts me down,

So when I walk, I fall.

It's like a bad dream.

Will I ever wake up, at all?

I try to run away,

But I cant get far.

What is happening to me?

This is so bizarre.

To wake up,

I must begin,

To live again.
