Well, what can I say? Actually, I can say a few things.

As a person, I'm incredibly outgoing and flamboyant once I've become accustomed to a given crowd of people. I'm somewhat phlegmatic and purportedly eccentric. I'm easily amongst the most open people you'll ever encounter, able to talk about anything. This uncanny ability of mine leads at times to deep, thought-provoking exchanges on controversial and pressing matters, or it can lead to extremely uncomfortable "TMI" moments. I have never felt awkwardness in my life and I have no concept of being awkward about anything. What can I say? Anything that is addressed to me, I will respond with indubitable sincerity. I am perfectly comfortable nearly all the time.

Study and the never-ending pursuit of knowledge play an integral role in my life. I love my school with a passion and seek to excel in all areas academically. However, it has recently come to my attention that there is far more to life outside of what books and lecturers can teach me about the structure of DNA, mathematical formulae, or the function of anaphora in a piece of literature. Whilst I deeply value so-called "book knowledge" and still seek to attain it, I also wish to broaden my horizons by obtaining true wisdom -- the kind of wisdom that shines through profound emotional experiences, of any and all kinds. I have had the revelation that this kind of wisdom is experienced through human interaction and coming to terms with one's own humanity -- their mortality, place in the world, and their duties and responsibilities to others and to society. I firmly believe more can be learned from peering into the meek, inviting eyes of a child in need than from the pages of an encyclopedia. I seek all knowledge and I will be spending the rest of my life trying to reach that sacred point of enlightenment, although I know that in reality, true knowledge is akin to an asymptote. So, why do I try? Because I follow Socrates' words: "The unexamined life is not worth living."

That's all I have to say for now; I'm aware that this section is vastly prolix. But, I am overtly loquacious, so in advance... sorry!
