I can understand the attraction to the "bad girl" type but such makeup is still obsessive to me. Actually, It's the black eyeliner that gets me. I know it's meant to accent the eyes and it can do just that if done right. But, it's so easy to get it wrong. As for me, I'm more lolita than goth. I do like mostly black outfits with small chains and I'm even attracted to caricatures of skulls. However, I prefer the lace and ruffles above anything else and usually they can't be black or they won't stand out.
